I find two things interesting about this article:
First: as I go on and on about, it's relatively easy, even with our backward propulsion technologies, to get from a gas giant to anywhere else in the Solar System.
Second: Fans of human habitation in space should think about the implications of "Mission planners make great effort not to contaminate alien worlds with terrestrial life."
By the way, this is the time for all the anti-nuke lunatics to start screaming about polluting space with radioactive plutonium.
