Ah. Nope, my sad mid-term memory rather clearly depicted a casual conversation with someone where the population of ReaderCon was stated to be "maybe a couple thousand or so". My assumptions were based on knowing it was a well-established con, with that conversation in my head as back-drop, and not particularly because of any list of attendees I might or might not have known about. As it is, I really only know a few names of people I know who have attended ReaderCon, and some of them are "famous", and some of them not so much.

My greatest exposure to fandom culture is James' LiveJournal, actually. (And probably a few other blogs now that I think of it, that I've only recently started following actively.)
