Any relation involving Mo is doomed from day one. I thought Clarice and Toni had a pretty good run.

"I'm gonna marry her one day." And I only just realised: all through the later strips, it's Toni who's so ardently pro-marriage, but right there that's Clarice declaring that they're gonna get married, before they even properly met.

I don't know if they were doomed. They had a lot going against them, but it was such a great relationship.
