How could anyone support a team with ARSE in its name?

Always mystified me.

Glory glory!

I have no idea what leafs or arsenal mean, but I'll vote for things that mean "large numbers of weapons".

Well, at least you're voting for a football team when the question is about a football game.

Mind you, Arsenal plays association football, rather than rugby football.

Manchester United?

Sorry, sports are a bit of a blank spot here.

Pah! Go Manchester City!

(This is as close as I'll get to trolling -- I find most games with the word "football" in them to be uninteresting or even boring, although Australian Rules Football has caught my attention in a good way.)

In my faded youth (kindergarten, to be precise) Frank Mahovlich visited our class. With that in mind, I'll have to go for the Make Beliefs.

Also, everyone in my family, with the exception of my Habs-loving brother, was a TO fan. Until I deserted, in favor of the Bruins.

What? No love for the puppy bowl (http://animal.discovery.com/tv/puppy-bowl/)?

OT: do you remember Ogi Ogas and Sai Gaddam, of 2009's SurveyFail? Well you can pre-order their book that uses the "research" from that on amazon now (http://www.amazon.com/Billion-Wicked-Thoughts-Largest-Experiment/dp/0525952098/ref=dp_return_1?ie=UTF8&n=283155&s=books). *cue cries of "WILL 2009 NEVER END!?!"*

NOTE: the book blurb requires a quite sturdy memetic prophylactic if only because it has a lot of supportive quotes from evopsych neckbeards, but it hit journalfen a few days ago, along with an incredibly faily youtube interview of Ogi Ogas talking about the contents of the book (http://www.journalfen.net/community/i_wank/146864.html) and well... check out the tags that have been added and the "also viewed" on amazon. They are somewhat win.

And as the book comes out properly in march, it seems reasonable to expect another uptick in shenanigans when it's possible for people to leave comments on the amazon page.

There is probably a lesson in all of this.

I voted for Leafs, but only because of the barman from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy who stated "Forgone conclusion, then. Arsenal without a chance?"

I'm for the Leafs as preferring their sport, and a side helping of your reason.

I am quite surprised at the current outcome of the poll.

I am now picturing a sporting event where the competitors are professionals from unrelated teams, given a short period to learn the basic rules of the contest in question and then hurled into the field.
