Went to get my trigger finger fixed. Was advised to get a stress ball for exercise.
Matters got more interesting when I asked the doctor to look at a bump on my nose. "Oh, that's just cancer," she happily informed me, belatedly adding that it is non-malignant. However, she could burn it off my face with LN2. The cancer, not my nose. I asked if this would hurt. She assured me that it would be very painful with more glee than I care for from someone who is about to cause me pain.
No point in delaying such things, so I braced myself and let her fire blasts of liquid nitrogen at me. I was expecting something along the lines of "semi-molten glass spike to the face." It was more like "small hornet sting." I was aware of it but it was hardly life-altering. It may be that my pain scale is different from other people's.
