I forgot Orilo also can get a boon at each level. I belatedly upgraded his "never has disadvantage with stealth" to "always has advantage." Unfortunately the mathy bits of my brain don't really work anymore so I am having trouble calculating what means numerically. If I roll two d20 and pick the highest, what's the average result?

Late 1970s, Algonquin Park. I'm camping with two friends. We decide to play cards. There happens to be a natural rock formation perfect for two people to play cards and a little farther away, a boulder light enough for three teens to move if they work together. So we moved it.
The rock might have been a couple of hundred pounds but it was easy enough to move once I slid my hand under it for better leverage. When we put it back down, I heard this crunch sound and thought "Hey, maybe I should have moved my hand out from under this heavy boulder before we put it down." But I looked at my hand and it seemed OK. No pain, anyway. ( Read more... )
