So the odd banging sound from upstairs

Was Fig, furiously lashing his tail against the sides of the chair he was in as he watched the squirrel on the other side of the window.

Ibid, on the other hand, kept trying to headbutt the squirrel while making friendly chirping sounds at it.

Potentially annoying asteroid discovered

Asteroid has small chance of collision with Earth on August 26, 2032.

The boom would only be about 2.5 gigatons. That's not great for whoever is under it - it would depopulate Southern Ontario quite nicely - but in no way world-theatening.
