Ford's last hurrah?
Nov. 30th, 2012 10:05 amFord to leave council meetings forever as he entered the world, screaming and gesturing?
But there is a surprising twist
In what could be his last council meeting as Toronto's mayor, Rob Ford got into a shouting match with councillor Adam Vaughan over developer fees on Thursday.
But there is a surprising twist
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford was cleared today to run again for mayor in a byelection, should one be held ahead of the 2014 municipal election.

Nov. 30th, 2012 01:13 pmFunny, I was just thinking about a superhero universe where the dominant model for how teams are recruited and supported is Celtic vs Rangers.
Or Maple Leafs versus Canadiens, but in that case the Toronto team of supers would combine comparative ineptitude with impressive profitability and there'd be at least some discussion whether the Anaheim Justice Bunch really counts as a bone fide superhero team or whether only the six original groups of crime-punchers are genuine.
(Gary Bettman as the Commissioner of the League of Legions of Superheros: comment. Feel free to use Tiger and Bunny as a possible model)
