Apr. 6th, 2012 12:23 amWas James cannot get service, beginning with a total failure to obtain a Jamaican patty at Rainbow cafe. Person ahead of me was served, person behind, not me. After five minutes of being ignored, I left. This is a recurring problem I have there, which is why I am not a more regular customer.
Ended with a clerk who just could not find the price codes for things but was firm, at least with the first set of times, about ignoring my comment that I'd rather just do without the item than wait for them to find the price. The second time this happened I was more forceful about pointing out that I had frozens melting. If there had been a third repeat, I have asked to speak to the manager and I'd have left all of the groceries behind.
No, actually, ended with what should have been a quick trip to Zehrs if in Zehrs' wisdom they had not decided the day before Easter Friday was a good day to have only a few tills open. Long, long lines. Did get served but had a good long wait for it.
