Is there a formal name

For the interval between someone pointing out an apparent bias in selection processes and the first occurance of the word "quota"? Aside from "femtosecond", I mean.

Sad

I got the name of a great looking SF whose plot sounded intriguing, a nice weighty hardcover whose cover was, iirc, an intricate drawing of a crater on Mars.

Then I woke up.
