Seed for an RPG setting?
Apr. 16th, 2009 03:35 pmIn the Eyes of Amber review, I said (of a setting where only women could be starship crew) Given past history I wouldn't expect men to be affronted by an inability to be a spacer. I'd expect them to dismiss the entire profession as beneath them, in as much as it's dominated by women.
I'm thinking here of professions whose status and I believe pay declined as they were increasingly dominated by women.
Damien Neil replied I think I'd like to read a story with this as an element of the setting.
And since I never get around to writing stories but do write up RPG backgrounds, I'll put that in the RPG idea box for now to ferment.
