I sometimes wonder what happened to the baby Stalinists in the old Anti-Imperial Alliance, the Communists who took over UW's student paper back in the 1970s. It never occurred to me to wonder in what context someone's past affiliation with the AIA might be mentioned until just now.

This looks like some model of 3-wheeler that I saw in the UK in the 1960s but for the life of me I cannot recall what they were called. I mean, I know we called them "bubble cars" but I don't know the manufacturer's name.

It wasn't the Robin Reliant, FWIW.

Has anyone tried the version where you partially dry the apple slices in the oven before baking them in a pie? This is said to increase the sweetness.
