Date: 2009-03-07 12:10 pm (UTC)In the four-hour "mini-series" "Something Is Out There" the human cop simply assumed that the big alien ship would have a self-destruct system, while the hot female alien who used to be part of its crew was at a complete loss as to why it should have such a ridiculous thing. (Note that this was a problem, as things had degraded to the point that destroying the ship was the only way to kill the monster.)
