Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple (アガサ・クリスティーの名探偵ポワロとマープル, Agasa Kurisutī no Meitantei Powaro to Māpuru?) is an anime television series that adapted several Agatha Christie stories about Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. A new character named Mabel West, Miss Marple's great-niece, who becomes Poirot's junior assistant, is used to connect the two detectives.

Hm. Looks like it was fansubbed by a few groups, and is as yet unlicensed. Torrentable.

(But no, I haven't seen it--and my backlog and life being what it is, another 39-episode series is "no thanks" right now.)

I've seen some of it. The Mabel West conceit aside, it was a pretty regular adaptation of Poirot and Marple stories.

Interestingly, most TV adaptations of the Poirot stories have had conceits used to maintain continuity of supporting cast. Like the ITV series, where several minor characters from some of the books, Captain Hastings, Inspector Japp and Miss Lemon; were extended into roles that either did not exist or were taken by different characters.
