Any catless people in Southern Ontario who can help these cats?

Meet NINA & MISTY~Beautiful MAIN Coon loving Cats.(London ON) LADY OWNER has DIED .... they need a loving caring person to take care of them..... so to all my fb friends, we need your help...we are two beautiful 14 yr old cats female (spayed) who need a home together..... or we will be put down and we have a lot of healthy life left in us both still, we are indoor cats only, we are kind, loving, and easy to look after so if you can open up your heart & home to us we would be forever grateful thank you I am trying to help a friend of a friend out, they need a home with no other pets. Or if you know someone who can help please let me know a gift certificate for food supply comes with these pretty gals, they deserve to live, they are so loving..... Thank you~! I do not think it is at all reasonable for us to desire them... but. Is there anything we can do for them? Some money to the shelter, a bribe to get someone to adopt them, what?

I will -- for the nonce -- forgo asking how much it would take for you to have two more cats.

The problem is I know people who like cats who have them and people who don't like cats who don't have them. Except for the ex's parents, who no longer have a cat but are gone half the year.

Shared on my own LJ. Hoping someone on my own friendlist might be able to help. As I have allergic relatives regularly visiting, I cannot. Also, a smallish host of other issues in play...

As friends of ours discovered, it's really hard to find a home for two cats at once -- people who don't have cats think that having two will more than double the work, and people who do have cats usually don't want to take on a pair. (we wound up with the pair when no-one else would take them, even though it put me over my limit on paws.)

Wish I could take them. It's sad how many wonderful elderly pets are euthanized. If we didn't already have two elderly cats we'd take them.
