Perhaps not very common at all, although even low percentages work out to large absolute numbers.

On the other hand,

By combining all the data, including observations of stars that did not have planets, and looking at the fraction of existing planets that could be discovered, the team has been able to work out how common different sorts of planets are around red dwarfs. They find that the frequency of occurrence of super-Earths in the habitable zone is 41% with a range from 28% to 95%.

This list feels like something an SF reader of my vintage might have come up with 20 years ago, although I see the author is either much younger than I am or far more immune to the ravages of time than I am. Aside from "whuffie", I'm not seeing many neologisms but there's a bunch of oldlogisms from classic SF in there.

Except to be mildly surprised I didn't hear it was coming out.

I've only just started reading, but the Kindle edition for Android has a formatting problem.

It cannot be displayed in landscape view, which is my preferred view on the Android.
