The Science Fiction Writers of America announced to members yesterday that Dorchester Publishing, after failing to fulfill their contractual obligations to SFWA members, has been removed from the list of qualifying SFWA markets.

In related news, Dorchester’s sole remaining editorial staff, Chris Keeslar, is no longer employed with the company as of January 31, 2012.

Speaking as a professional reviewer
Feb. 4th, 2012 10:46 amThis Imprint review of FASS 2012 is surprising short on the sort of details one might expect had the reviewer actually seen the show. Still, mostly supportive of the general idea of FASS, if not necessarily this specific show.
