This seems so obvious someone must have done it but if so I have managed to miss it or forget it:

A police procedural where the murder occurs at a thinly disguised Bouchercon. The lead detective settles in for what promises to be a fairly standard investigation. Unfortunately for the detective, all of the attending authors decide to help.
