This is old news but I don't think I ever mentioned it here.

I like this bit:

The resulting hot plasma is directed with a magnetic nozzle to achieve a specific impulse range of 7,500 to 25,000 seconds, at a yield per pulse of 100 to 30,000 GJ. At the upper range, that's about 2 1/2 times the amount of energy that the human race uses in one second (excluding poorly tracked solar inputs).

Ted Nolan reports that Locus reports

E.C. Tubb sold his thirty-third Dumarest novel,
_Figures of Earth_ to Charles Pelto of Homeworld
Press via Phil Harbottle.

Dumarest is a Terran who no longer knows where the Earth is located. His quest to return home is complicated by the vast scale of the galaxy, the incredible obscurity of his homeworld (something that appears to have been encouraged) and the fact that Dumarest is probably the most gullible man in the galaxy as long as the magic word "Earth" is included in the pitch.

[Added Later]

I did some digging and discovered that Homeworld Press is owned/part of Classic Comics Press. I sent them some email and got this in return (QWP):

James:

We are working on it now. The plan is to re-print the entire series of books
in volumes of 3, with plans to publish the first 3 volumes (first 9 Dumarest
books) by Spring of next year, following up with 6-9 month cycles of 3
volumes each. The 11th volume will have the rarely seen The Return and the
final book in the Dumarest saga to be called Child of Earth. Tubb has
already finished the 33rd book and I have to say it's damned good, really
works well in closing up the series, as well as leaving it open for a whole
new series to be called Dumarest of Earth.

As I said we are in the process of beginning to work on the first 3 volumes
and will be launching a website soon (http://www.homeworldpress.com) to
announce that series and some other projects we are working on.

The Dumarest books will have covers and interior art by Douglas Klauba -
http://www.douglasklauba.com with design by GPS.

Hopefully this answers your questions.
