A qestion about SPI's Dragonquest
Aug. 28th, 2007 04:22 pmOne design flaw in DQ that was not fixed in 2nd Edition was the fact that mages get a lot of spells for free, which despite most of those spells are on the order of "bend straw" and "set own foot on fire" means that starting mages effectively start off with a fair bit more experience than the mundane cannon-fodder.
I know a fix was published somewhere but cannot recall where. Any DQ fans out there recall where the article I have in mind appeared?

Stabbity Stabbity Stab
Aug. 28th, 2007 08:20 pmAm I cursed to spend my days reading articles on Lunar 3He? At least this one is skeptical but it misses one major drawback to the plan: In terms of energy, it's easier to haul 3He up from the surface of the Sun than it is to refine it out of Lunar regolith. The Moon only looks like a good place to get 3He because we're comparing it to Earth.
I blame Will Baird for pointing this article out to me.
