It occurs to me ignoring the watermark the publisher went to so much trouble to provide me with is rude. From now on, I will do my best - subject to the better judgment of my editors - to remember to review the text-obscuring watermarks as well as the bits of the text I can make out.
All e-ARCs and such should come with a water-mark that announces the publisher thinks the reviewer might be a thief while making the book nearly impossible to read
