Please jog my memory

A female, somewhat androgynous singer who I once said would be an interesting casting choice for Tintin. Interesting hair cut. Might have had a song with a q in it.

La Roux is the person I can think of who meets this.

Annie Lennox? Bjork? Janelle Monae?

La Roux? She sings Quicksand :)

Oh thank you. It was driving me nuts.

Even without the Q hint I may have guessed her as I totally know what you mean about her making a good Tintin. I saw her in Toronto a few years ago, she's pretty great :)

I would have said Tilda Swinton. Admittedly, she isn't a singer, but Tilda Swinton is the right answer to everything. I'd pay good money to see her as an aging Tintin.

Excuse me, but surely 42 is the answer to everything! :-)

Forty-two Tilda Swintons?

Forty-Two is The Answer, to Life, the Universe and Everything. But if you wish to have 42 Tilda Swintons go ahead :-)

Great. Now I'm going to watch Dr. Strange and be half-expecting to see a little white dog, the whole damn movie.

Momentary reading comprehension failure left me imagining a singer who wanted to cast James as Tintin. I did not see the resemblance.

He could probably do a fascinating version of Cuthbert, though.
