A chart like that listing the delta-V necessary to go from planet to planet would be awesome. Especially if we forced every SF author to hang one over their desk.
You mean a schematic like this? It could only help. It would be nice to also give them some idea how deep gravity wells are; the two charts are not obviously similar to everyone.
