A new trigger for my asthma

The sound I make when I look up from doing the dishes to discover an angry looking feral cat glaring at me from the other side of the window over the sink. It was maybe two-three feet from my face.

It had an expression I call "WHY IS THE DRY FOOD DISH EMPTY?"

It's probably the raccoon's fault. Or maybe a skunk.

It's generous of the cat to help you keep your non-verbal communication skills honed.

This calls for rigorous self-examination and discipline. Why WAS the food dish empty? Is there some way that you can rearrange your daily activities to permit more frequent checks and refills? Perhaps you can set up a webcam and monitoring system so that other people, throughout the world, can observe the dish and notify you when there is an impending problem (defined as four ounces of or less remaining.)
