Pretty much any recipe with more than four ingredients is a food locus. Much choice, no need to consume arthropods or stargazy pie or similar doubtful provender.
Farmer's markets sometimes have locust honey, from bees that have been foraging in honey locust or black locust trees. (It's a fairly mild flavor; I bought it because I am very fond of the scent of those flowers, and they only bloom for a week or two a year.)
