Aged tomcat Groucho has worked out a new way to reinforce who is in charge by sleeping in the dry food dish and bopping Ibid on the nose when he tried to eat.

I wonder how long that will work. Ibid may decide to start licking Groucho because his fur smells like cat food.

Ibid already grooms Groucho. It's one of Groucho's gripes. Not so much the grooming as the fact Ibid does it so forcefully he lifts Groucho off his feet in mid-groom.
