Exit 13th Age

Schedule conflicts mean yet more long gaps between sessions so our 13th Age campaign is shutting down.

Aw! I always liked hearing about the sessions.

So did I! James does a much better job of session writeups than I do. Our group has been gaming together for over twenty years, and we're gonna keep playing, so I fully expect James' writeups to continue -- it'll just be different characters/genres/settings.

Poor Otho. We'll miss him.

Much to his surprise he didn't die!

I feel quite bad about this, but it's time for someone else to take a GMing turn (this one has been running for nigh-on a year), and we reached a good place to stop, and my next two months look like a scheduling minefield, and we haven't really had consistent play over the last four to six weeks because of a confluence of health problems, people's vacations, work requirements and the like.

Oddly enough, we also reached a decent place to start up again, should we want to. The PCs started initial investigations into the Tombs of Abysthor, and barely escaped with their lives, and have a compelling reason to go back and a "safe place" from which to launch such an effort.

The Tomb will be waiting for them, should they ever care to return.
