A phone doesn't care what language you speak into it.

One could imagine a phone with a very sophisticated data compression algorithm that wouldn't be language-neutral. And if you're very near the Slow Zone it could send messages in text.

Weird, that.

Well it is German software at heart :-)

But does it have lusophone?

Anglophobia is logical and right. Therefore, it should be in the dictionary. Anglophonia is the water in which the fish swims, something which does not need definition.

I, sir, am an Anglophile. I have even committed Anglophilia on numerous occasions. Just ask [livejournal.com profile] eviltomble.

"Anglophone" is a strictly Canadian word, which therefore is not recognized by the rest of the world.

What's the definitive Canadian dictionary (or maybe I should say "canonical" to distinguish it, since all dictionaries are definitive)?

I like the Oxford Canadian, myself.

Funny, I've heard a number of non-Canadian sources use "Anglophone" to describe African countries where English is in common use.

And LibreOffice is reportedly better at Office 2010 compatibility than the last OpenOffice release, according to discussion at Linux Weekly News (http://lwn.net/SubscriberLink/495627/1afa2aca01863bcc/).
