What I planned on posting when I got home

Special: handing your grade-school kid your smart phone because you need it to do something you don't and the kid does know how to make it do.

More special: berating them for not being as good/fast at it as their sibling.
azurelunatic: Cordless phone showing a heart. (phone)

Oh dear. Bonus points for incoherent description of the thing that the phone needs to do?

The tag completely changes the context.

You know... If the parent doesn't know how to make the phone do its trick, it's not so smart to antagonize the kid who does.

Six months later someone might discover that the 'cross-post text messages to facebook' button is ticked and have no idea why their private lives can be googled.

I have no patience with people who do things without considering the possible negative outcomes.

Have you considered the possible negative outcome of having no patience with any specific group of people?

Yes; I will end up vaguely annoyed and occasionally bleeding from the ears.

One of my former coworkers has a status update on Facebook every few months that is some variation on "<son> is the best son ever!"

It's amusing the first time, sort of sad after about the third time and each subsequent time.

The kid should think up something new to do with access to the parental computer.

What's the point of having kids if they don't provide good Tech Support?
