This is neither a criticism of James nor of anyone mocking the picture, since I'm all for mocking politicians (and especially this one), but I admit that I do manage to feel sorry for McCain at the same time. When I saw the video of what happened, my first thought was "I would probably strike that exact pose were I to suddenly correct my course in a self-deprecating way."
