Should that be "Sidekick Squad, book 2"?

I was going to say the same thing... but apparently I am too slow.

Odd pacing is exactly the comment I had after reading the book, and book 3 has the same issue.

Too bad. :(
I had really enjoyed the first, sad that the next couple aren't holding up.

Come to think, not a criticism, but when does a "Sidekick Squad" appear in these stories?

I bounced pretty hard off the book, in multiple places, for multiple reasons. Took me a long time to finish.
I never got to the third book as a result.

Ooh, I picked up the first book in this series and just recently finished it (ahead of my kids, who may have given up because it smelled like Teen Romance and they are squidgy about that stuff right now). Excited to read your review!
