The Great Pacific Northwet - called God's Country because you walk on water nine months of the year. =) Quite a shock to the system to move to the midwest.
Or as a Utah-born friend of mine said of Eugene winters, "Forty degrees* and raining! Forty degrees and raining! I'll take ANYTHING else besides forty degrees and raining!"
(*Farenheit, not Celcius.)
