Information I can use

Failure modes for twirling earbuds include smacking oneself in the eye in mid-flirt.

(Not sure I would call it a flirt fail, exactly. The boy she was smiling at was very concerned for her well being. An inadvertent success?)

Adorable & funny, and got the flirtee to show concern, so it's absolutely a win.

She should have picked someone to flirt with that was easier on the eyes...

A non-linear approach, but at least she got his attention.

There was a study back in the 70's about love and it showed a man was more likely to show feelings of love if he was subjected to painful stimuli. That being the case she should have smacked him in the eye with the earbuds. Yeah, her approach worked but did he have feelings of love? The world will never know.

At first I was trying to picture you flirting, and failed utterly.
