Sleeping Cats

was experimenting with sleeping next to me last night, so I didn't get much sleep. His idea of reclining next to me involves 30 seconds of motionlessness followed by about five minutes of re-arranging himself into new positions (including the old damp-nose-in-the-ear+loud-purr one), over and over. After about 30 minutes he got fed up and went down to the foot of the bed.

I'll take the nose-in-the-ear thing over Cleo's thoughtful poking at my eye or Tapestry's stubborn insistance that she should be allowed to sleep on my head, or Groucho's brave growling at everyone else once he's curled up next to me and feels safe.

I swear to got that first sentence had the name Eddie in it when I typed it. The line-eater strikes again.

Thought it was Eddie.

I have to say, we have trouble enough with one cat hogging the blankets and hoit water bottle; can't imagine what it must belike with however umpteen many cats you have...
