I thank you for this review, but truth be told, it could stand some proofreading. Here are a few nits:

- you have used the [1] footnote symbol twice in the body.

- missing words: lives as a god among her people thanks to her power

- missing word: ... encountered so when he stumbles over Anyanwu's existence ...

- extra word: Her persistence is paid badly most poorly.
