I did consider giving this the full Sydney Mellon, reviewing it from the perspective of some hopeless Doc Smith or Campbell fanboy whose knowledge of the field ended in 1970 but I like the book too much to do that to it. I do enjoy thinking about what would have happened had such a person read this.
