I have not read this book

So this is not a review of the book. It is a review of the blurb intended to entice me to buy it.

I do not care for this blurb but am curious how other people react to it.

In vivid contrast, right now I want lots of adventurey modern space opera, but I also demand a certain minimum of quality, and that book really sounds like it doesn't have it. I'm left wondering who would read that book other than perhaps young teens with a love of Heinlein in-jokes, which given that Heinlein has been dead for 26 years doesn't sound like a large market share.
