I didn't forget Clarkesworld

But I was camping with 20-odd people and sitting off by myself listening to my PlayBook struck me as rude.

So instead I read. But lots of people were reading.

I am reminded of a friend, nice but socially anxious to the point I often want to scream at him (``yes, you have to say `pardon me, good bye' before leaving''), invited to an end-of-con dinner in ... must have been 2011, who did come along but spent the whole dinner reading a book. And I want to say it was a book by Paul Reiser. I normally read through meals myself but not in an end-of-con dinner with fifteen other rambunctious con-goers.

Did you get marshmallows? I miss roasted marshmallows.

There were seven bags of marshmallows. Not sure how many survived.

James, fire, a stick, and something that not only catches on fire but sticks to you while doing so.

What could possibly go wrong?
