I had moments of pure brilliance. Some of the ones involving time and the passage thereof were spectacular. However, on reflection, many of the interactions between the men and women are pretty badly sexist.
It's essentially a sitcom about relationships for the late 20s/early 30s set. But a couple of the female characters are just dreadful.
Yes... that said, I suppose all the characters were pretty 2 Dimensional. But I've never particularly liked Gina Bellman prior to her role in Leverage, she was plain awful in Jekyl and she was saved from being the most vapid female character by Kate Issit's one.
Sarah Alexander had all the good writing.
It might be a weakness of Moffat that he can only write well for a limited number of characters and can't do ensemble pieces well.
