Oh sure, I'm familiar with the many errors of historical fact in Blackout, thanks to online remarks such as yours. (Most of them flew over my head as fairly ignorant American, but I do remember something about buying stamps with cents.) Even in my cloud of ignorance though, I still found the book utterly unbearable!
