I put "Children of the Sky" down about halfway through. It feels very over-long to my eye. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for that kind of immersion, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
I was vaguely tempted to ask him if I could get your copy... But, it's crass any way I can think of phrasing it, and I don't want that for either of you.
I'm thinking there's a good chance I'll get a lot of reading done when I'm at Renovation, so I'm trying to stock up now ;).
