As May 2 approaches
Three new national polls (not including this morning's EKOS) and a stunning 10 new riding polls have been added to the projection. It has created quite a bit of movement, but still not as much as I'd like to see. Nevertheless, the New Democrats are growing by leaps and bounds and are starting to knock-off Conservative seats in British Columbia and even Quebec.

It does have issues sometimes, but considerably fewer than under FPP, where National and Labour took turns setting policy and not giving a damn about what anyone else was interested in.
The only reason I have for disliking the introduction of MMP was that it meant the winding up of the MacgGillicuddy Serious Party. They stopped campaigning when it became too likely they might actually win a seat.

-- Steve's biggest objection to MMP, as implemented in that proposal at least, is that it increases the strength of party whips in a system where party whips already hold too much power. (Canada needs more free votes in Parliament and a weaker PMO... though perhaps not to the same degree as is common in the US.)
