Two unrelated links

Justine Larbalestier catagorizes crazy writers.

Seen via Whatever.

George Zebrowski is angry.

I saw this because of Charles Stross's mention of Rudy Rucker.

A general question

What information would you expect to find on a publisher's website?

[Let's make this less terse]

Is it unreasonable to expect:

* A list of recently published titles, with brief descriptions.

* A list of previously published titles that are still in print, also with brief descriptions.

* A list of upcoming titles (out to, oh, six months), also with brief descriptions.

For garnish, links to authors webpages would be nice.

The reason I ask is that from time to time when I am trying to figure out what it is that I am being sent, I either find no information at all [1] or I find a publisher that is willing to admit they plan to publish something but who are not willing to give any hints about the books beyond title and author.

1: This is probably because I see stuff a lot earlier than it would make sense to start promoting it to readers.
