Happens far too often to me - that is why I'm asking. There is a difference in price between an e-book reader and a paperback, I assume...

Ya got a point - ebooks aside, what we really need is for someone to come out with books on plastic targeted for adults.

It swells up but remains readable. Also, it costs $10 to replace.

I'm sure more than half the books in my house could not be replaced easily.
