Maybe this says something about the physical construction of Parliament Hill, in which the House is divided into government and opposition sides. Perhaps it needs to be turned into a museum, with a new parliament being constructed in a semicircle.
Still lots of room on LeBreton Flats, although I suspect Harper would be just as happy to bulldoze and sell off the lot and conduct Parliament in an Atco trailer somewhere.
Pass, thanks. I think Parliament ought to have a bit more dignity than that. Hell, if it weren't with my lack of familiarity with building safety codes, I'd try to design a building for it.
