Mine has been reduced to little brown blobs over the last week or two, and drifting all over the ground with yesterdays rain and todays wind. Mind you, the May Blossom (Hawthorn) is over too and that used to last into June 20 years ago.

Here in Toronto they're at their peak, in spite of the weekend's derecho. Cold spring. Some years they're over mid May if we get a heat wave.

The lilacs closest to me (southern England) are similarly brown, but on a walk yesterday I passed some that were still in bloom, if past their peak. May blossom is still out here.
