The passage is passé. Really. if there's enough melt to make the Passage navigable, there's probably enough melt that you can bypass the entire thing and go around the Archipelago (which is really the shortest route, anyway, at least from Europe to the Far East).

Yes, i agree the passage is passé, and that the Arctic Sea/Ocean, as it shall come to be called, will be the preferred Europe-East Asia shipping route.
