The exgf has wanted me to use string mops instead of sponge mops for a long time. I finally gave in and bought a string mop and a suitable bucket.

It does work better than the sponge mop.

Please accept this as formal notification that she was right and I was out of the loop speaking metaphorically misquoted by the jackals of the press wrong.
