I don't leave my home without taking keys, to ensure I can get back in again.

Keys live in a pocket.

I am not a marsupial, therefore any pockets I possess are attached to my clothes.

QED.

You're not a marsupial TODAY. What if that changes unexpectedly?

You wouldn't want to put your keys in your pouch if you were a marsupial anyway.

Well, you wouldn't want to be fishing them out from there. Or using them after you did. ew

Also, Charlie appears to be a male of the species, so no pouch for him. Maybe cheek pouches!

You say that final line as if TG doesn't often also show up in TF cases.

And given how common M->F and M->H are....

If I unexpectedly change into a marsupial, accidentally going out of the house without my clothes will be the least of my worries.

Afraid of being sent to a kangaroo court?

Something like that for me too.

I've never understood people who get home and empty their pockets... All my pocket stuff stays in my pockets, and at night the pocket holder (pants, shorts, whatever) goes on a shelf in my closet. When I don a new set of pocket holders, the stuff goes direct from the old to the new and the old goes into the hamper.

What I do have to track down is my smart phone... it doesn't have a fixed home and so tends to be wherever I last used it.
