I'm not saying they are related
But something killed my phone connection dead this afternoon and when I stepped outside to go to a payphone, there was a Bell Repair truck parked on the other side of the block.
Expect few posts until this is addressed.
[They do seem to have been related: the problem was a broken wire in the local junction box (or whatever they are called) where the other guy was working yesterday]
